K. Mark Wedel
Mark Wedel is the Managing Partner of the Wedel Financial Group in Salina, Kansas. He has over 34 years experience in the financial services industry, has been recognized as a member of the Platinum Council* from 2009 through 2023, and was named in Barron’s Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in 2009.** Mark was recognized on the 2021 thru 2025 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors lists.*** Mark received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2006. Mark had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. Mark also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.
Mark graduated from Bethel College with a degree in economics and business administration. He and his wife, Carolyn, have 3 grown children, two grandsons and two granddaughters. They enjoy spending time in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with their Welsh Corgis, Shashi and Thula. In addition they are active members in the community. Mark has previously served on the boards of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Salina Art Center, the First Presbyterian Church, Salina Presbyterian Manor Endowment, Salina Arts and Humanities, and the Salina Country Club.
Mark leads the Wedel Financial Group. He has put together a team with over 160 years of combined experience in the financial services industry. They are dedicated to building lifelong relationships with clients and their families based on trust, mutual respect and the highest level of service.
